Music video: Introduction

  1)  The key conventions of music are movement, performance, narrative, visual effects, promotional devices, editing/sound, and mise-en-scene. 2)  Intertexuality is referring to another piece of media in one piece of media. In other words, referencing something else within a music video/film/game. 3)  1981 4)  In 1981, MTV launched; MTV was the first ever big platform dedicated to music, and it showed popular music videos at the time. They were a big part of the industry at the time as most music videos were designed to promote a band/artist's music. 5)  Nowadays, music videos are posted online to sites like YouTube. MTV isn't really a popular or convenient thing anymore, as it's much more convenient to just go online and watch/listen to what you want instead of sitting through stuff you aren't interested in.

Title: Dark Deception Genre : Fantasy Extract: Chapter 1 of Dark deception Doug Houser Trapped in Afterlife. (Between heaven and Hell) Narrative summary: The title 'Dark Deception - No Way Back' alternatively contrast to face the darkness and find a way to survive. In this TV show, starts off with a dark intro with words saying "It is done. Now my faith lies in darkness..." being typed with a typewriter. Afterwards, the protagonist (Doug Houser) meets a mysterious woman named Bierce. Bierce explains that she knows all the terrible things that the protagonist has done, and knows their desires. Trapped in a realm of nightmarish mazes with this mysterious woman. This is the first chapter in the Dark Deception story. I intent to have the protagonist Investigate and survive the first maze.
