This is the first chapter in the Dark Deception story. I intent to have the protagonist Investigate and survive the first maze. Media language
The title ‘Dark deception’ was deliberately chosen, the setting starts of cloudy to a dark ending showing how long the chasing went on for.

• The key of this chase scene is suspense and tension.
• How characters are acting as they move along.

Representations and Audience
My drama might conveys fears of being watched constantly. The character 'Corrupt watcher' could represent Scopophobia, the fear of being watched or followed by someone. The Master instructs the corrupt watcher to retrieve the mask for the master.
Target audience: Age for the target audience of this Fantasy TV drama is 12+. The most common reason for this is that young adults and teenagers enjoy thrills. These thrills are more likely to excite a younger audience rather than an older one. watching horror/fantasy movies activates threat-response brain regions such as the amygdala, prefrontal cortex and insula as if the danger were real. This combines fantasy with elements of horror or has a gloomy dark tone or an atmosphere of horror and dread

Audience pleasures will be present throughout the show such as:

• Surveillance - can trigger the fight-or- flight response, a boost in adrenaline, endorphins and dopamine
• Visceral pleasure - stealing a mask and trying to find a way to escape the corrupt watcher
